I have at least two weights of tailored winter wool coats in my wardrobe. One is a 16 ounce wool broadcloth in camel hair that is a work horse in my wardrobe. The other is a 22 ounxw wool melton very warm coat. Both types of wool tailor very nicely so the choice is up to you and depends more on the weight of the wool.
