As a young girl I needed a way to express myself in the world and photography was the perfect medium. When I held my camera the world suddenly made sense.
I made my first portrait in 1993 and since have been commissioned to do many kinds of photography, but I am always drawn back to people. I love working with people most of all because I can connect to them and with them create images that will be cherished and loved for generations.
My style has been described as “elegant”, “breathlessly simple”, “beautifully romantic” and “full of class”. Over the years I have come to love creating images that are reflective, beautiful and romantic.
I think of myself more or less as an artist whose medium is light and shadow.
