I am looking for the type of fabric used for those very thin swaddling blankets for babies. The companies that make them call it a muslin but all the muslin I find is of a different, heavier nature. The swaddling blankets appear to be gauze really but ready made items call it muslin. should I be looking at gauze? Is organic better? And why is it so hard to buy fabric that matches the type found in any store-bought item? Thank you for your input!
