I use Rit dye often to dye t-shirts. I was wondering if there was a way to make t-shirts heathered. Thanks, Dave

“Heathered” is a function of yarn-dye – that is, a variegated yarn is knitted into fabric for a T-shirt. So it’s difficult to create this effect at the point of dyeing the garment. Experiment with special effects such as tying, bunching, soaking, etc to see if you can get a special effect that you like.
