Most fabric rolls seem to come in widths between 140 cm and 150 cm, not wide enough for a king-size bedspread without doubling up. How does one go about getting fabric that’s 280 cm wide? It’s out there somewhere but…

Dear Bill: Not many folks, these days, are sewing their own bedspreads. Bedspread manufacturers have their fabrics custom made to the widths they need. Visit www.fabri-quilt.com to find out where you may be able to purchase wide woven prints and solids. Good Luck, Andy
