My eight-year-old son is going to be a ring bearer in my sister-in-laws wedding. She gave me some fabric and asked me to make his tie, but I have no idea where to begin. Is there a tie pattern somewhere that I can use? I only sew by hand, as I do not have a sewing machine.

Dear Lizz: See if you can get a boys tie at Wal-Mart, then copy the design on to tracing paper, then make a tie using the pattern you just made.
