I have enjoyed reading your website postings, and was hoping for some expert advise. My friend and I have been printing our designs on tees and selling them, but now would like to insert our own label into the shirt for branding purposes. I know you can’t buy a t-shirt with no label at all (due to law), but is it ok to replace the manufactures tag (fruit of the loom) with our own? I have tried the FTC website, but have had no luck. Fruit of the loom has not returned my e-mails. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

Dear Aaron: It sounds like it may be OK. I’d check with an attorney first before doing anything. I’ve seen custom T’s with new labels in them. It seems to work in the market place. Good Luck, Andy
