I just came across your site today when I was looking for information about ramie. Your site is wonderful and has been very helpful, but I’m wondering if I can shrink a sweater that I received and can not return. It is 60% Ramie, 37% Acrylic, 3% Polyester. The label says it can be machine washed in cold in the gentle cycle and to dry flat, cool iron if needed. Please help, I love this sweater and really want it to fit better.

Chantal: Have it tailored to fit. Shrinking it to size is a bad idea.
