Hello, I was wondering… I have a costume party on Saturday, and I am going as a fire spirit… I have the perfect shirt, but it’s black. It is 92% Polyester, and 8% spandex… I don’t know if I spelled that right… heh… Anyways, I bought some bright red dye, and I wanted to know if there is any way to drain the black shirt of it’s color (or at least some of it), so that I could dye it red. The costume and your presentation sound wonderful. Unfortunately you can’t do anything with the polyester shirt. Go shopping at a thrift store for the right color.
