Hi Andy, I have sold several of my designs for home furnishing textiles, wallpaper and gift wrap, but through an agent. I am thinking about taking a booth at SURTEX in hopes of selling more directly, but I want to find out what the standard price is per piece. Thanks, Linda

Linda: As with anything in the marketplace, try to get, whatever the market will bear. There is no set price, especially, when it comes to art. Each design and each artist is an individual. If you feel the art is going to be licensed for a product for which they will produce “millions of pieces”, then it may have a greater value, than if it is going into a limited run item. Ask your booth neighbors at the show. Exhibitors and artists will have a better handle on this situation, and are usually willing to share their knowledge.
