I just received a chair from a relative. It needs to be covered in some way as it is stained and not to attractive looking. It is a swivel rocker with a removable cushion seat. The skirt at the bottom is coming off. The chair is in good shape structure wise, nothing loose, and is still comfortable. I want to use it in my baby’s room for late night feedings. I was thinking about re-upholstering it but I would like to just put the new fabric over the existing. This will be my first time trying this, I watch all the home shows and I have faith in myself that I can do this. Do you have any advice or tips for me?
