I am making a blanket with red fleece (back) and cotton fabric on the top.  I noticed that the fleece had a black smudge on it so I took a wet wash cloth to get it off – but in doing so the red rubbed off.  My concern is that when the blanket is washed – the red fleece will bleed onto the cotton fabric on the front.  What would be the best way to clean this item?
