Andy,
can you respond to what is a good pinking sheer? I have two pairs and neither is any good at cutting, they only seem to chew the fabric even when they are recently sharpened. Please advise.

Dear Jill: My expertise is not in Pinking sheers. In my own experience, the better the quality of the product, the better it will perform. If you take a low quality sheer, even after sharpening, if it still performs badly, well, then it’s time to trade up to better quality sheers. I’ve always had great results from my Fiskars. After years of having one pair, the blades became slightly separated. They replaced the sheer, no questions asked. Good Luck, Andy
