What is the best suited fabric for a luxury Blanket?

Hi 

Can you please advice me on which is the best fabric type to use for a blanket with wadding inside. I want it to look really luxurious. The fabric will be digitally printed on. Ideally the fabric will be dry cleaned or machine washable. 

Please can you help me

    Hi Allyara,

    I think that this is going to be a matter of personal preference and what types of materials the digital printer will take. Wool, Silk, Velvet, Cotton, Linen can all be printed on and are luxurious, the only questions are who is your buyer/customer? Are you doing a throw blanket or a comforter or a quilt or even a wall hanging? What’s your end use? Is it for art or use?

    I think personally, if it was me, I would want something that I could use that was very soft. There are some really nice satinized cottons that would be luxurious and soft.
