What type of fabric does Elie Saab use (spring 2012)?

I want to have a seamstress make me a dress from the Elie Saab collection 2012 http://www.eliesaab.com/#/en/home What are the names of fabrics he uses and where can I buy them.

    Hi Blerta,
    Could you narrow it down for me? There are a lot garments in the collection. From what I can tell, some look like jersey knits, others look like silk organza, charmuese, chiffon and possibly even some violes. The solids are harder. I’m willing to bet those are silk knit jerseys or rayon stretch jersey, possibly even a very high quality silk/wool blend with a very fine weave. But without being able to see the collection better or know exactly which garment you are refering to, I can really only guess at what fabrics are used. I don’t know at this time if Elie Saab puts out a list of fabrics used in their collections but I can try to track one down. Hope that helps.

    I’m a couturier myself & use many of his laces for my own clients garments. He does produce many of his own laces (they range from $1500AUD upwards). However he does use quite alot of Solstice lace and silk tulle (French & Italian) hope this helps.
